Sycamore Music Boosters is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Our mission is to enrich the music education of all music students from Kindergarden through 12th grade. We have wonderful people volunteering their time and talents for your student(s) and this organization, but we always need more help! We have a very active Music Boosters group, and in the last 5 years we have purchased band uniforms, a baby grand piano, choral risers, a band trailer, numerous instruments, and provided educational opportunities and food for special trips. We also provide music camp scholarships each year in addition to senior and continuing college scholarships. To do all this we need YOU! Our largest fund raiser, the Pumpkinfest Craft Fair, is coming up in October and our second biggest fundraiser, A Note to Remember, will happen in February. We need many volunteers! There are a variety of jobs and times. Please consider either volunteering your time, donating some pies for our pie sale, or making a monetary contribution for the upcoming Craft Fair, or being a sponsor or donating items for the auction/raffle at A Note to Remember.
We don’t want things to fall through the cracks or programs to end because we don’t have enough help. Below are just a few positions that need assistance; would you please consider how you can help?
Publicity Committee Member(s)
1-3 people needed to serve on a new Publicity Sub-Committee to assist with social media posts, publicity articles, taking photos at concerts & events, assistance with checking and managing email. 1-2 people needed to put together monthly electronic Newsletter (what you’re reading right now!). We use the Constant Contact program, which is very easy and user friendly to learn. Some of the information is supplied by our Publicist and you just copy and paste the information! You can do this on your own time so it works with anyone’s schedule. A Note to Remember Program Design

Small Fundraiser Coordinator or Co-Coordinators
