Get your pie at the Music Booster’s Craft Fair!

We're bringing back a popular feature of the Music Booster Autumn Craft Fair and Treasure Market ... PIES!!! Purchase pie slices at the concessions stand or whole, homemade pies at the pie sales table located in the foyer of the SHS Field House. Starts Saturday morning, or while supplies last.

We need your help gathering pies!
You can donate store-bought pies for the concessions stand. Please SIGNUP (adult signup link for Saturday
morning) to donate store-bought pies.

Or, you can donate whole, homemade pies for the pie sales table! No signup is necessary. Please consider donating
multiple pies. Our goal is to sell over 75 homemade pies!

Requirements

All pies (store-bought and homemade) must be shelf-stable: no refrigeration needed, not
cream based; pumpkin and fruit-based pies are preferred. All pies should be in a disposable pie tin with
a clear lid.

Convenient Drop Off

ALL pies can be conveniently dropped off from your vehicle to a pie runner on the
Saturday morning of the craft fair, Oct. 28, 8a-noon. Look for signs near the SHS Field House bus stop
(east side).

Thank you for helping support this component of the Music Boosters fundraiser!

Celebrating More than a Half Century

In 1972, milk and gasoline were less than $1 a gallon, Americans began hearing about something called Watergate, Marlon Brando made an offer that couldn’t be refused, Mikey discovered he likes Life, and one of the best craft fairs in the Midwest was born.

That craft fair became formally known as the Sycamore Autumn Craft & Treasure Market, and for half a century, it has provided …

  • area residents thousands of unique gifts ideas just in time for the holidays

  • an excellent addition to the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival

  • a great way to support small, local businesses

  • a wonderful sense of community because the entire event supports Sycamore music programs.

Proceeds benefit the Sycamore Music Boosters. The Sycamore Music Boosters, host of the ACTM, will comply with all local, state and national health guidelines regarding large public gatherings in indoor spaces.

Situated during lovely Illinois autumn, just before the holidays and along with the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival, the market draws about 6,000 shoppers to more than 100 booths in an indoor, climate-controlled facility. Craft fair vendors offer thousands of unique and eclectic items ranging from textiles to jewelry, to art to home decorations, to foods and spices, to pet paraphernalia.

Vendors enjoy free setup help from student volunteers, and shoppers enjoy free, on-site parking at SHS. Thanks to golf carts supplied by the Sycamore Park District, shoppers can get free rides to/from vehicles. The ACTM will also offer a variety of foods, beverages and desserts.
